* ) a kind of art or science for designing buildings or other structures, the activity of the architect from the base level landscape to minor details every design and idea is included in it.
Theory of Architecture
Architecure is based over three main motives .
1)Beauty
2)Durability
3)Utility
according to vitruvius an architect must try his level best to fulfil these three atributes, to make a structure look good and durable according to the requirements of the owner and for construction buildings according to the landlord to provide complete satisfaction.
ARCHITECTURAL TYPES
Architecture is created only to fulfill the specifications of an indivisual or a group, meeting up his or her requirements in the best way possible . type of architecture depends upon social formation and may be classified according to role of portions in the community,
Types of architecture
1) Domestic architecture :- type of architecture produced for an social unit , an individual , a family or a clan, for their dependents humans or animals . this provide basic physical structure or a shelter to them and security for their basic physical functions of life and improving their living standards and quality.
2) Advanced architecture :- this joins the architecture with the advancement in the technology introducing new styles and techniques , improving the physical view of the structure and quality.
3) Vernacular architecture :-it is an architectural style based on local needs ,availability of construction materials and local traditions. this type of architecture do not use formally schooled architects.
In other ways architecture can be separated into many more types according to its bases like domestic ,religious ,governmental, recreational , educational and much more .
Other types of architecture
Business architecture : a blueprint providing common understanding of the organisation and it is used to align strategic objectives and tactical demands.
